Husband phoned Sky up, prepared to cancel our multi-room when they, very helpfully, told us that the particular box we had had been known to have a fault so they arranged for an engineer to come out today, (yes I was shocked too - working on a Bank Holiday!) and replace the box.
The engineer arrived about 1.30pm and replaced our old box with a lovely new HD box, free of charge and then came downstairs into the living room to make sure our main box was still working after he'd fiddled with the cables and connections.
Wee Z was playing hangman with his God Mummy in the living room. The engineer came in and picked up the Sky remote and started pressing the power button on and off.
"Is this on?" The engineer asked me.
Wee Z turned around from his game and with a completely straight face said, "You need to turn the TV on first!"
