Chuckle Monster Cards - Review

On February 14th, people all over the world will send and receive Valentine's Day cards from their loved ones or their secret admirers. Some will have spent ages picking out the most perfect card in their local card shop. Others might have spent their time making a beautiful handmade card. Some might not bother and others might have left it to the last minute.

Like most things these days, you can also order your Valentine's cards online. I was asked to try out Chuckle Monster to see how easy it was to order a Valentine's Day card for Husband.

First off, the site looks good and I found it super user-friendly. If you are looking for a card for a particular occasion, you can use the drop down tabs on the homepage. Every occasion seems to be catered for such as birthdays, Christmas, Thank you cards and even first tooth cards.

I quickly found a card for Husband that I knew would make him chuckle. I always buy him a funny card for Valentine's Day as I like him to feel like I made him laugh at least once in the year (well laughing with me is different from laughing at me!)

You can personalise your card with names, messages and photos. A pretty handy feature with the photo upload is you can upload a photo straight from Facebook. I decided to just personalise the card with our names and then type my own message on the inside of the card. If I'd wanted to write my card, there was the option to leave the inside blank.

I was able to preview my card before placing my order. There was the option to sign up to Chuckle Monster but this wasn't mandatory to place the order. I had the option of having my card sent directly to my address or sending it to another address. Saves a stamp!

Delivery wise, you can choose to have the card sent first class, UK guaranteed next day delivery before 1pm and International delivery. The prices are clearly indicated on their delivery information so there is less chance of a scary surprise when you order your card.

My card arrived within a few days. It looked exactly as it did in the preview and came with an extra envelope for the card. Prices start from £2.99. Usually I wouldn't spend as much on a card however I'd definitely use their site again if I wanted a personalised card or if I was too busy to get into town.

I was given a code to order cards to allow me to write a review of Chuckle Monster. The opinions expressed are my own.
