Maw Broon's Kitchen Goodies - Review

A few weeks ago I received a lovely goody bag filled with Maw Broon's Kitchen Goodies. The Broons are a Scottish family, named the Browns, created in 1936. Comic strips were published in a Sunday newspaper every week and the popularity of the family grew from there. I remember my Dad used to read the annuals and comic strips and finding them very funny.

Inside my gift bag were lots of Maw Broon's Kitchen Goodies. My favourite was the fudge. I love fudge and everyone else was lucky to get a piece. There was also some caramel shortcake, some shortbread, a Maw Broon's cookbook, a tea cosy and some tea bags. Maw Broon loves a good cuppa, some yummy goodies and a blether. Just what I love too.

My friend admired the carrier bag the gifts came in so I gave it to her under strict instruction to only fill it with Rum. She happily agreed, being a massive The Broon's fan...and a massive fan of Rum.

There are lots of lovely kitchen and home items in the Maw Broon's range which would make great gifts for any The Broon's fans.

We received these products for the purposes of a review. The opinions expressed are my own.
