The Week That Was #39

Last Monday, it was back to school and college. It was a horrible day! I had a busy day at college and almost fell asleep in my last lecture! When I got home, Husband was making the dinner and the kids had done their homework so they were playing. I gave the kids a shower and then read them each a story. Then it was time for my homework!

On Tuesday, I dropped the kids off at school and I headed to college for my half day of lectures. After college, I came home, did some housework and headed out to school to collect the kids. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing and doing homework. Thankfully it was a much nicer day but by bedtime, I needed the heating on.

On Wednesday, it was the first day of my placement. It was hard work, especially being there for 7 hours but it was fun too. After school, we had parents evening (more like parents afternoon at the time we went) and the kids got great reports.

On Thursday, it was day two of my placement. It was another hard but fun day. I was ready for bed after dinner and I felt like I got no time with the kids by the time I got home. However, I'm on holiday now until the 20th and the kids are on holiday from Monday so we'll have plenty of time together then.

On Friday, I dropped the kids off at school and headed to the shops to get the food shop done. The rest of the day was spent working or cleaning. At least I had peace to do it. After school, we came home and watched a bit of TV as it was pouring with rain.

On Saturday, Z had karate in the morning. After lunch, Miss C's friend arrived for a sleepover. We went to Build a Bear, where the girls chose a new friend each and then they had a shot on the trampolines where you are attached to a bungee-type thing. Miss C's friend was going so high, I was freaking out a bit! We then headed to Frankie & Bennys for dinner, which was yummy. We got home in time for XFactor starting although the girls and Z headed to bed for 9pm. They were exhausted!
