Blooming Daffodils

I get really excited when Spring arrives. I love it being lighter in the mornings and in the evenings. It's a bit warmer, the sun is shining and the daffodils are in full bloom.

We headed to the park last weekend to enjoy some of the beautiful Spring sunshine and admire the daffodil patch. It really is beautiful when you see the golden yellow bursting from the green grass.

The kids played in the park for a little while; Z played with a friend and Miss C was on and off the swings a lot. She too met a friend whilst we were there and they played together on their scooters.

Husband then headed off with Z in to town to get a haircut whilst Miss C and I stayed on a little longer. We fed the ducks, went on the zip-slide and then headed to the daffodils. I felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland where she lies in the flower bed and has a little nap. I could easily have lay in the sunshine all afternoon. I literally can't wait for Summer to arrive!
