Dining in Disney - Day 9

We headed outwith the Disney bubble on the ninth day of our holiday, finding new foods to enjoy on International Drive. Here's where and what we ate:

Breakfast at The Landscape of Flavours - Art of Animation

We had originally planned to go somewhere on International Drive for breakfast however, as Husband didn't pick the car up until after 9am, we had breakfast at the hotel instead.

The kids and I had our meal deal of cereal with milk, bottled water, a pack of fruit and a cookie. Husband had his usual of steak burger and fries.

The total cost of our breakfast was $29.50. No tip required at a quick service restaurant.

Lunch in the Vineland Outlets Food Court

The food court is located in the centre of the Vineland outlet with quite a few fast food style locations to choose from. We decided to go for Chinese as we were really craving a Chinese meal.

I ordered a portion of beef in blackbean with fried rice and a portion of beef in black pepper with noodles. The portions were huge and enough for us all to share. I had heard that the Chinese food in Orlando was awful but our lunch was really, really yummy.

I bought two bottles of water to go along with the food.

The total cost for our lunch was $20 and no tip was required.

Dinner at Longhorns Steakhouse - International Drive

I'd heard that Longhorns Steakhouse was one of the best places to get a steak dinner in Orlando and being huge steak lovers, we knew we'd want to go there. We used the Navmii app to find our nearest one and, after a slight detour, we found it. We were seated within a few minutes...something that is highly unlikely in any Disney table service restaurant, even with a reservation.

The menu looked really good. We decided to just order a main meal as we got the choice of sides with our meal. Husband chose a Caesar salad and I chose a regular salad with a balsamic vinaigrette. Unfortunately, it came with grated cheese which I hate so I didn't eat it. Miss C ordered a burger with fries and Z ordered a steak with fries. Husband and I decided to go for the porterhouse for two.

The steaks were cooked just how we like them and tasted amazing. Service was pretty quick but we weren't rushed and our drinks were topped up regularly.

The total cost of our meal was around $70 and we left a $10 tip which was just below the 18%.

Dessert from The Cheesecake Factory - Mall at Millenia

When in Orlando, The Cheesecake Factory is a must. You can get a full meal there but we just wanted cheesecake. There were so many different flavours to choose from! Z and Husband went for Dulce de Leche and Miss C and I chose strawberry. We found a bench outside and enjoyed our dessert by moonlight.

The cheesecakes were amazing. Some of the best cheesecake I have ever eaten in fact. But they were rich. Really rich. Of course we still finished them.

The total cost for our dessert was around $17. The prices of the cheesecakes varied depending on flavour I think but they averaged $7.95.

We'd definitely recommend Longhorns Steakhouse for a meal as the food was delicious and a great price for a meal.
