366 Project 2016 Days 66 - 72

On Sunday, it was Mother's Day. I got to have a lie in, I got some lovely gifts and it was just a very relaxed day. Aside from tile shopping, I really enjoyed spending the day with Husband and the kids. We got to go out for a very yummy dinner too!

It was back to normal on Monday with school and placement to go to. Despite it being a sunny morning and March, it was still cold enough to warrant wearing hats and scarves. The day went in very quickly! I picked the kids up from my friend's house and we headed home to finish off the homework.

Tuesday was a miserable day with rain and wind for pretty much most of the day. I picked the kids up from school and we were all excited to have spaghetti bolognaise for dinner to heat us up. Despite the cold and miserable weather, my daffodils decided to bloom and they have really brightened up my kitchen.

It was my day off on Wednesday so I dropped the kids off at school and headed home to get on with my college work. It took me all morning and in to the afternoon to finish a report. It was so nice outside, I managed to get a washing out to dry and we enjoyed the stroll home in the sunshine.

On Thursday, it was back to college for me. The day went in pretty quickly and I managed to get away early which was great as it meant I could pick the kids up from school. They played outside in the sunshine because it was so nice.

Another day of college on Friday. I dropped the kids off at school and then walked down to the college. Again it was another quick day but with lots of work. When I got home, someone was in to measure up our bathroom for the redecorating. Hopefully it isn't going to take to long to do the room! After dinner, Miss C asked if she could watch a film in her bed. She looked really cosy!

On Saturday, after doing the shopping and having lunch, we went to visit our niece. She's getting so big even though she is only 2 months old. Husband gave her her milk and I think he was feeling a bit broody! Miss C loved fussing over her and asking lots of questions whereas Z wasn't too fussed. We had pizza for dinner and then watched a few movies; one with the kids and one just Husband and I.
