The New Libearian - Book Review

The New Libearian is a new addition to the Maverick Children's Books collection and is written by Alison Donald and illustrated by Alex Wilmore.

This story takes place in the library, where the children have gathered, ready for story time with the librarian, Miss Merryweather. However, she seems to have disappeared and the children aren't sure where she could have gotten to.

The children go on a search to find her but instead they find a new libearian; a very hairy, very large bear! When the children search through the books, they realise that the bear has come from one of their favourite stories.

This is a really fun picture book and we enjoyed reading this one together. It's quite easy to read so it's ideal for any child who is starting to read independently.
